A Little About John
John Stevens is Purple Patch’s swim authority and a highly experienced multisport coach. A former captain of the University of Miami swim team, John has coached at the collegiate level and now co-leads Purple Patch’s swim curriculum. He directs all swim programming at Purple Patch camps and is known for helping triathletes turn swimming from a weakness into a strength. Beyond the pool, John has guided athletes to Kona, world championships, and countless breakthrough PRs. As a competitor, he is a four-time SwimRun Casco Bay champion and winner of the 2018 Orcas Island Swimrun.
