A Little About Liz
Liz is an age group triathlete who grew up swimming and hiking in San Diego, then fell in love with running along the shores of Hawaii. As a military spouse and mom of two, Liz builds overall resilience through training and values the integration of sport into life. With a professional background in education and non-profit organizations, she came to work for Purple Patch to build a healthier, stronger tomorrow for athletes of all backgrounds.
Her strong organizational skills and life-experience, as well as considerable athletic accomplishment and development quickly positioned her as a key player in the Purple Patch team, as well as her local community. Her athletic interested and results extend well beyond triathlon, as not only a multi-time qualifier to the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships, but also a Boston Marathon finisher and multiple time age group winner across all distances in the sport. Her keen interest in the sport is postpartum performance, something she is experienced with having completing the Boston Marathon just 6 months following the birth of her first child.
