The BUILD program will set up your entire season of racing with technical efficiency, a foundation or endurance and fitness, as well as swim-specific muscular power and speed. For 13 weeks, before the start of your event-specific training, you’ll complete 26 triathlon-specific progressive swim workouts that will be the backbone of your weekly swim training.

We have partnered with open-water swimming expert Gerry Rodrigues of Tower 26 to create a long course triathlon-specific swimming program designed for breakthrough results.
Our program is designed to be flexible to your swimming level and be integrated into your current swim training even if you’re currently in a masters group.
We have developed a plan that sits at the heart of your swimming program, with two foundational cannot-miss workouts each week.

As with every purplepatch training program, we want to go 'on your journey with you', and will be supporting you throughout your training. You will gain access to most of the same training resources and education our pro athletes and private clients receive, as we want you to not only swim faster, but become empowered to become a smarter athlete overall.

- We will help track your performance and certainly keep you honest in your training! This guide allows you to gain key performance metrics to assess your gains, and also imbbed natural training goals for you.

- I have yet to meet an endurance athletes that is properly fueling themselves. In this guide and video I’ll show you some simple strategies on proper fueling, hydration and nutritional approaches to optimize performance, speed up recovery, avoid GI issues and improve body composition.

- In this private group you’ll get access to a monthly interactive presentation and discussion with myself and / or Gerry, while also being able to share your war stories and experiences with fellow athletes.

Requirements:
If you are going to come on this journey with us, we will help you be successful, and you should be prepared with the following requirements and abilities.
- Able to dedicate at minimum of two 75 - 90 minute swim workouts per week for 13 weeks.
- You can currently swim at for that duration, with each session broken into specific intervals
- You have access to a 25 yard or 50 meter pool.
- You’ll need the following equipment: googles, swim snorkel, ankle strap, kick board, pull-buoy, fins.
