Our training plans are a fantastic guide to effective training and the pursuit of your goals, but true performance arrives from much more than a plan. We believe that any training plan is best supported with ongoing education, community support and a little accountability to keep you honest. Feel free to grab a plan and train alone, but maximize your experience by taking advantage of our evolving online community, and ongoing free education and consultation with Matt Dixon. All athletes on purplepatch training plans will be invited to ongoing online webinars and education with Matt Dixon, as well as receiving free educational materials and support. As we evolve this community, we will connect you with each other and help make our training journey more fun and empowering, whether you are in Topeka, Kansas, or Cape Town, South Africa.

Swimming
We have partnered with open-water swimming expert Gerry Rodrigues of Tower 26 to create a long course triathlon-specific swimming program designed for breakthrough results.
Our program is designed to be flexible to your swimming level and be integrated into your current swim training even if you’re currently in a masters group.
Wildflower Guided Plans
Kick off your triathlon season with purplepatch at Wildflower! Our newest guided training plans will take you step-by-step for 12 weeks right up to race day. So whether you're a developing triathlete doing the Olympic course or a seasoned racer who wants to set a PR on the long course, we got you covered.
Marathon
Multi-level Marathon programs include a progressive 12 or 15 week training plan with detailed daily workouts, field tests, benchmarks, and training zones. The purplepatch programs were developed by Matt Dixon, utilizing the same principles and progression he uses with the purplepatch pros.
Half-marathon
