What purplepatch Means
To me purplepatch fitness has been the chance of a lifetime to pursue my dream of becoming a professional triathlete, while also maintaining life balance. I was first introduced to purplepatch when I was selected as the first female Farm Project winner in the spring of 2011. I was given the opportunity to attend the pro training camp in Tucson, AZ, after which I was completely hooked on ppf. Going into the camp, I was expecting a week of fun with some of my favorite athletes, and a chance to learn more about training and racing. I didn’t realize it was also going to be a completely life changing experience. I loved the intensity of the training, the importance of proper recovery, and the focus on maintaining a life outside of the sport. This element was key for me because even as a pro I want to maintain a full-time job and strong relationships with my family and friends. My journey with ppf is just beginning and I can’t wait to see where it takes me!
