** purplepatch pros roll on.  Since we connected last there has been plenty of continuing stellar performances from the purplepatch professionals.  Here are the quick-fire results of the last three weeks:

- Belinda Harper:  Ironman Cairns 2nd Place.  A major Ironman race set in the beauty of Queensland, Australia.  Belinda Harper had a breakout performance to record an incredibly brave second place, getting past in the very late stages of the run.  By far her best performance of her career so far, our little Kiwi showed what a bright future she has.
- Linsey Corbin:  Ironman Hawaii 70.3 Champion.  Following a major training camp on the big island, Linsey stepped up to take the overall win in very challenging conditions, even managing to take a new course record in the process.  This is a great stepping stone toward her upcoming Ironman Austria in July.
- Meredith Kessler:  Eagleman 70.3 Champion.  This was a special performance by Meredith, leading wire to wire and recording 4 hours and 12 minutes for this Half Ironman distance event.  Another win for Meredith is making this a special season for her, following two Ironman wins previously recorded earlier in the year.  She is surely having one of the best seasons of any professional so far.  Let's hope it can continue.
- Rachel Joyce:  Ironman Kansas 70.3 Champion.  Rachel followed a tough couple of months of sickness to build back into a wire-to-wire win at Kansas.  Her performance, on a day of high wind and heat, match up to those of previous winner Chrissie Wellington, and further cement her as a part of the true elite in the women's field.  Rachel now builds into Challenge Roth Ironman distance in July.

Much more racing to come.... and much more news to follow.

Stay healthy.

Cheers
